The Problem

Just mere months after launching, JM Digital had already built a solid reputation in the e-commerce space, landing several clients. However, one element was yet to fall into place: the website. Simply put, it didn’t exist, and James was missing out on a crucial opportunity to reach potential clients and naturally extend his personal brand.

James also knew exactly where his audience spends time – especially on LinkedIn – and wanted a site that could support that kind of connection while still feeling personal and human.

We kicked things off by getting to know the JM Digital brand properly. The best relationships are built on collaboration, not assumption, so this highly important step is one we never skip. From day one, it was clear that James didn’t want fluff. He wanted a site that reflected his work: sharp, honest, and straight to the point.

We built the site in Elementor, giving us the flexibility to deliver something fast, responsive, and easy to iterate as JM Digital continues to grow. The design uses a single, bold shade of blue across every key element, which reinforces the brand’s identity of clarity, simplicity, and confidence. It’s a deliberate choice that mirrors the way James works: no clutter, just straight-up strategy.

The structure of the site was equally intentional. Case studies take centre stage – not buried away, but highlighted on the homepage, listed in the footer, and woven throughout the site. These stories do the heavy lifting, showing exactly how JM Digital helps brands scale. We avoided jargon and let the work speak for itself. This falls in line with James’ wishes to build an authentic, human brand, with the real impact of his work flourishing in the spotlight.

On the homepage, we gave prominence to a simple but powerful CTA: “Connect on LinkedIn.” For James, LinkedIn is where he meets potential clients, builds trust, and wins work. It’s a hugely important platform that greases the wheels of his business, so we made sure to encourage visitors to find him there. It’s a simple but effective way to blend his personal brand with professional credibility.

The About page is another standout. Instead of corporate boilerplate, it features a personal message from James, supported by real photos of him in action – working, presenting, and collaborating with clients. It makes the experience more human and reminds visitors who they’ll actually be working with.

Finally, we kept the services and process pages tight and skimmable. Clear headers, boxed sections, no filler. Visitors can get to the info they need fast, which is exactly how JM Digital operates.
