WooCommerce development

WooCommerce done right. Not just "working."

WooCommerce gives you full control and deep flexibility, but only when it's built properly.

A badly built WooCommerce store is slow, fragile, and painful to manage. A well-built one is fast, flexible, and gives you more control over your content and SEO than any hosted platform.

WooCommerce development

What we manage.

Everything a WooCommerce store needs to be fast, flexible and easy to run.

  • Planning

    Store strategy and UX first

Product categories, customer journey, and checkout flow mapped out before anyone opens a design tool.

  • Design

    Custom design

A store that looks like your brand. Not a theme with a logo change and a colour swap.

  • Build

    Performance-focused builds

Clean code. No bloated themes. No unnecessary plugins dragging down page speed. WooCommerce can be fast, most stores just aren't built that way.

  • Search

    SEO flexibility

This is where WooCommerce shines. Full control over content, URL structures, and technical SEO. If organic search is a major growth channel for your store, WooCommerce gives you more to work with.

  • Features

    Custom functionality

Subscriptions, memberships, complex shipping rules, multi-currency, B2B pricing. WooCommerce handles complexity that hosted platforms struggle with.

  • Support

    Training and ongoing support

You'll know how to manage products, orders and content. And when WordPress, WooCommerce or a plugin updates and something breaks, someone picks up the phone.

Shopify or WooCommerce.

Honest answer: it depends on your business.

Shopify is simpler to manage and better for teams that want to move fast with less technical involvement. WooCommerce gives you more control and is stronger for SEO-heavy and content-heavy businesses. We build on both. We'll recommend the one that fits.

Frequently asked questions.

The questions we get asked most before someone decides to work with us. If yours isn't here, ask.

01. Why WooCommerce instead of Shopify?

Control and flexibility. WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so you own the whole stack, your content and SEO have no limits, and complex things like memberships, B2B pricing or unusual shipping rules are easier. If you want simpler and faster to manage, Shopify may suit you better. We build both and we'll say which.

Badly built WooCommerce is slow: bloated themes, too many plugins, cheap hosting. Built properly on decent hosting with clean code, it's fast. We have 150+ WordPress sites under management and we know what makes them crawl.

Yes. Products, orders, stock, pages and blog posts are all editable from the WordPress dashboard. We train you at handover. The technical side, updates, security and performance, is usually best left with us on a maintenance plan.

A custom WooCommerce store typically costs more upfront than a Shopify theme but has no monthly platform fee. The price depends on catalogue size, functionality and integrations. We give you a fixed quote after scoping, not a day rate that drifts.

We'd recommend it. WordPress, WooCommerce and plugins update constantly, and one incompatible update can take a store down. Our maintenance plans cover updates, backups, security, speed and content changes, with someone to call when you need them.
